Very big news  -

 

To our beloved bohemian shepherdess family, we have decided to end our small business era. 

 

Another door has opened for me (Mindy) and after much consideration on what ending one chapter and beginning another one would look like, I came to the conclusion that I’d be crazy to pass it up the opportunity. 

 

For the past 11 years I’ve poured my heart into this little business.  I loved being a little village herbalist maker of sorts for so many families. There was so much joy in taking my harvest and turning it into things that made a difference in people’s lives. It has been an incredible journey that grew me more than I ever could have imagined. 

 

Over the years the bohemian shepherdess was a magnet for attracting so many amazing people. When I started this journey I never could have imaged the relationships that would be made by being at the farmers market and by having an online store. It has been the best part of the business that I will always hold close to my heart.

 

For me, I get to close a beautiful business on a positive note and return to my roots as being a homesteader. I’m running back to growing so much food that we hardly go to the grocery store, back to wrapping up the morning rush of milking to quietly contemplating how I will use the milk we got that day. In this new era of my life I get to support my daughters even more as they care for their families. The call to this quiet life of working my farm and caring for my family can no longer be silenced. It’s time to return the farm back to our family. 

 

Thank you so much to all of the people who helped fuel this grass roots skincare line. It has been an incredible privilege to share our harvest with you for so many years.

 

Here’s how we are proceeding with closing the shop: 

 

First, its important to note that we will be releasing products in waves because of the nature of how we grow and make our products. I don’t want to under or overestimate demand as well. So if you go to order and see that something is out of stock know that you can plug your email in to be notified when the next batch is ready. 

 

Second, we are in full production mode so that we can keep making as we sell out. If I know that we’ve reached the last batch of a particular product I will send out an email and post on social media as well. 

 

With that being said, here are the products that I will not be restocking: 

 

calendula deodorant, calendula salve, super green balm, marigold butter, cleansing balm aka make up remover, spearmint hydrosol, holy gel, and our calendula everything body oil. 

 

ONE OTHER IMPORTANT NOTE:   If you preorder soap or lotion, we ask that you do so on a separate order unless you are okay waiting for your whole order to be shipped at the same time. It would be too expensive on our end to purchase shipping twice if we were to ship now and then again at a later date when your preorders are ready to go. 

 

SOAP:

 

Preorders for soap open today and end on March 2 -  I didn’t want to stock too much or too little, so we will wrap up soap making with preorders. Soap orders will start shipping the week of April 13. 

 

CALENDULA HAND + BODY CREAM:

 

I just finished restocking so we have a good amount in stock at the moment. When we run out I plan to make additional batches based off of need as well, so we will offer preorder as well once our current stock has been depleted. 

 

 

FACIAL OILS:

 

We are really low on stock at the moment but we will be restocking next week. So if you go to order and see that a facial oil says its out of stock know that it is not indefinitely out yet.

 

 

We will begin processing orders immediately but we anticipate our processing time to be a little longer than normal because of the volume of orders that we will be processing. Thank you for your patience with that! 

 

If you are placing a large order and would rather pick it up we can arrange that! Our shop will be open March 7th and 14th for pick up orders. We might be able to be open another day if those days do not work. Reach out if you need to schedule another day.
